About Us

LA VIA MOLDOVA

From 2010-2015 La VIA provided daily activities for approximately 40 institutionalized children in collaboration with a state boarding school (orphanage) in Chișinău. After the orphanage closed in 2016, La VIA Community Center was opened and continues to serve children from socially vulnerable families.

Testimonials

What our volunteers say

Corina Leahu

"It is so great to see the Spirit of God and His love for His children that is manifested through the people involved in this mission. La VIA is making a great impact in our society and community life.”

Miriam Marsh

"Entering the La VIA Center is like walking into a child's dream; the brick walls inside and out are covered in colorful murals, handmade decorations, balloons and drawings. Somehow every day feels interesting with new projects, games, puzzles and crafts for the kids to choose between."

Bequi Innes

"The work of La VIA is invaluable in providing children with a place of safety, unconditional love, consistency, hope and joy. I love seeing the children have the opportunity to put aside their worries and enjoy just being children! Volunteering there is one of the highlights of my week."

Corina Chinas

“I really enjoyed volunteer work at La VIA. The love of God is present in the attitude of the staff who use all their knowledge and skill to bring hope, joy, love, and affection to the children. I was glad to help the children with their homework.”
